I started running a FB ad back around May for the autism-awareness candles I make. My FB page sat at about 200 fans for several months. This past month it has exploded, and I'm nearing 1000 (gotten them over about 3 weeks time). I asked where they were coming from, and several said it was from my Facebook ad. And I'm suddenly spending a little money on it (you pay per click or something). I think I'm out $12 total. I'm not sure why it just started to take off, but it does seem to be working.
I haven't quite figured out how to target ours (Steve Stephens Consulting) toward the pressure washing industry yet though. Pressure washing (or power washing, etc.) doesn't seem to be a keyword choice that they offer.
