how cold is it?

I dont think im even going to pull the van out of the garage this weekend............. IT's so cold you can feel the snot freezing in the nose holes when you go outside ...............NOW THAT IS COLD !

Mark are there any trks. that need a cleaning in your area ?

wish I had your weather ... I had a call today ..this guy wants his frame cleaned so he can re-paint it .. Boy I really would hate to drag my van outa the heat just to do one trk.. I think I may put him off .It 's going to be -10 with the wind chill.

I kinda hate to turn down work but I think I may do more damage then what I would get paid for ...... If ya know what I mean ..

oh waite you DONT know what I mean you got your freakin back door open....... And I got my thermostat set @ 75 plus I got a fire in the ole wood burner down in the bacement ...

Oh well I guess I choose to live in the North so I will try real hard to not complain..

I guess I could come down and help ya with those trks.. esp. since you are going to pay for my lunch.......... but then again I would be spoiled and you would have to keep me for about 4 months ... o ya think you could do that ?I would just send my min. wage check to the wife and kids so they can stay warm........

Scott if Danny boy comes to you to work I gotta take a drive down with the camera to take pictures of him sweating trying to keep up with ya.

Those young ones don't know what WORK is and all he does is complain about how COLD it is, Dan, layer up some clothesing and keep warm.

Around 66° here now, perfect weather for working.

Hasn't been this cold in our area for several years. We've got a lot of work that we have been unable to do for the past 3 weeks!
Looks like it will be another week before we can do fleets and flatwork.

Down here in saint augustine fl. it,s 48 deg. but going down to 20 deg. tonite.Im getting ready to go out and pick my citrus so it wont freeze.48 and windy is cold here,20 is real bad on all the plants.After monday thet are calling for 68 deg. Stay warm.

almost had a frozen solid p/wer ....... wheee that was close..

went out to check the garage and machine .... and I didnt have the propane up high enough .. the inlet hose from the tank was froze and the pump was real cold.. I thawed it out and had the 'ready heater" burning on it .... for about 10 mins. I didnt start up the machine . I think I cought it in time to freeze and do damage..
Also the in line filter that comes from the tank was nothing but a frozen chunk of ice...

next week it's going to be in the 30's ...... and then it will probably snow 6' ......

Last night I worked until 10PM Just so uyou know it is a little unseasonably warm. I was wearing a t-shirt and was comfortable, and the kid that was working for me was in shorts and a t-shirt. We washed 253 pickups mixed with about 50 bigger pieces in 6.5 hours. A little slower than normal, the kid was new.

Been below freezing all day and night for the last 2 nights here. Had one of my water filer canasters shatter on me and a unloader get some ice in it on a job a few days ago but other than that it feels great here to me.

It's pretty bad when Im getting excited to hear that it is going to be in the 30's late this week.

oh well soon it will be spring and all the melting will happen and the warth of the sun .... then we will complain about the heat and the air-cond. bill ..... Are we ever happy?
