How Cold is TOO Cold?

High Pressure

I need to clean some sidewalks at convenience stores and the temperature has been around 35 degrees. I'm afraid of the sidewalks freezing up and becoming slippery for customers.

Any tips on accident prevention or should I just hold off until it gets warmer?

They also want their plastic store sign cleaned. Will the combination of cold weather and hot or cold water cause cracking?

Squeegee it as dry as possible, if your still concerned about freezing apply calcium chloride its not like rock salt, it doesn’t eat concrete. Try isopropyl alcohol it’s an aromatic solvent, it evaporates, its fairly cheap and doesn’t stain. Check the environmental hazards of using this chemical. msds I have only been advised myself and have never researched using it. The calcium chloride works great.

I also have that problem for freezing.I have a couple of coffee shops to do,so what I intend to do is just do them on milder days and that seems ok with the owners i shady areas I guess calcium would have to be put down.Hope this helps
