Include outside of gutters??

When quoting a job do you include the outside of the gutters or just the house??

In my quotes along with the house, I include outside of gutters, front steps and walk as well as wax. All washing is done with hot water.I do this because 99% of people want it all - the deluxe package. I just spell it all out prior to submitting my quote so they know exactly what they are getting. I find that if I offer all this upfront I am more apt to get the bid over my competition. I also offer exterior wood cleaning and sealing as well as driveway cleaning and inside of gutters for extra.

I try to include as much as information as needed on my bills to let the customer know exactly what services I performed for them. That also justfies my time. If the bill looks a little 'thin' , I'll even include any extra equipment I may have used, such as surface cleaners.

I always include the outside of the gutters. I would be embarrassed to leave them dirty, so I don't give the customer the option of NOT getting them clean.

LOL...my husband did a job for a friend of his. His friend told him not to worry about the outside of the gutters. I told him they need to be done. Soooo..I came here to ask you guys.

Of course the outside of the gutters have to be cleaned when doing a house wash. Anything else is an incomplete job.
