Lowballed

I really do not participate in the forums much but what are all you truck washers doing about the lowballing thats now going on? With diesel jumping past $4 per gl. those willing to wash trucks for peanuts are taking our jobs. The environmental aspect does not seem to matter when these fools will wash trucks for nearly nothing. We have this outfit starting up out of Grand Haven, Mi. thats soliciting all my trucking companies for $10 per tractor and trailer. Maybe you all know something I am missing. How do you wash trucks at this rate and be in compliance of the DEQ???? (Wave Pressure Washing is the LOW BALLER I am having problems with so if any of you know how its done please let me know.)

Thanks for any feedback.

They will not last long just call em ""Two Men In A Truck""
10 bucks is cheap Sounds like Fleet Wash to me..Looks good from 50 ft away
Hang in there. This new biz will find out that ten bucks is a drop in the gas can
and wonder if they have Ins/lic.. Low Ballers are in my neck of the woods times are getting bad so they will do what it takes to make 100 bucks a day..you think they hit the jack pot...

Ever spring there are 5-10 new companies which pop up. Bid way too low and screw up everything. That when we the professionals move in fix all the messes left behind and charge what we feel is fair(plus 25%). Sure these clowns might get the job but ALLWAYS remind the client "You get what you pay for." Give it some time by mid summer they will be gone!!!!
