Hey all the time has come to roll up my hoses put away the wands and drain the tanks.

Life has been good, pressure washing even better and all the friends I have made over the years on the boards, in person, at the PWNA conventions and even my local competitors I have met and had lunch with will remain friends forever.

I am retiring from the business more for health reasons then because I don’t want to work anymore.

The business has been sold; the trailer is up for sale as the person who bought the business has his own rig. I will post info on trailer in a few days, feel free to Email me about if you can’t wait.

Health comes first and I will be having a few surgeries soon and hopefully the end results will be good for me, there’s is a 50/50 chance so I am looking at that good 50%.

I will always be around to answer Email and phone calls if you want help but not sure what my new phone number, Email and USPS address will be yet.

Remy and I are looking for a larger home; I know most who retire down size, not us not yet anyway.

To those of you in the Pacific Northwest feel free to send me information on housing and good cities to live in that are at the most 1 hour from a major city like Portland or Seattle, what the weather is like and what areas to avoid living in.

Thanks everyone, take care and keep cleaning up the town.

Jon & Remy Fleischer

PS: Won't be relocating for about a year, need to look around first and wait for Doctor to give ok to travel.

Jon,

I am sorry to hear about your health and your leaving the business. I just came on this board in Jan 04 and you have been a great help in responding to my 'NEWBIE" questions and for that I am very greatful. You take care of yourself and your spouse. My family and I will keep you in our prayers and enjoy life.

Always a friend

Jon, The industry is losing a fine example of what others should aspire to become. Your peers and your customers and even us lowlife greasers too will miss you and I hope we stay in contact even if you want to move to Seattle (very wet place). I am in Seattle and Shoreline Washington from time to time and if that is where you go, I will expect an invite for the next time I am there!

Jon,
Even though I never met you I feel like I know you. I've read many of your post and exchange a few IM's and e-mails with you. I consider you a friend and an inspiration to all in the Powerwashing field. I was just talking about you the other day to a friend of mine. I was telling him that you are a young 60 and still kicking butt in the Powerwashing field. I am 43 and I'm hoping that I will have the strength and the will power to continue onward when I reach.....50 :) So you my friend are and always will be an inspiration to me to continue onwards.

Best of luck with your health issues and where ever you decide to move to. Stay in touch if you can by dropping in on these bb's from time to time.

Your friend,
John T.

Jon,
What else is there to say that hasn't been said? I too never met you in person, but feel like I got to know a lot about you. I don't doubt for a minute that you were a valuable asset to the power washing community. Actually I hope not WERE, but rather ARE STILL an asset, hoping that you hang around on these boards so we can all pick your brain.

As you said, health is first, and if you really think about it, life is nothing without your health.

You'll be in my thoughts, hoping for a full recovery.

Have you ever thought about moving to Michigan? I could sure use a salesman like you..... :)

Best wishes Friend!

Oh yeah... The competition is always the last one to find out...

Where am I going to siphon my gas from now? I guess I am going to actually have to buy it now?

I guess I can give up on the idea that I will have someone that is qualified to actually powerwash on the other side of the wall now!!

I was looking forward to taking a picture of someone reclaiming from these joints!!

Well, maybe one day we will be able to make it over and have that cup of Java, huh?

I really hope everything works out and I know as spunky as you are, this health issue is just a temporary forced vacation. A way for your body to say it wants a break from all that hard work.

Don't forget my e-mail addess... :)

I can't stop laughing over Roberts comments, I have tried to warn him before but oh no he just won't listen so I am going to put some diesel in my gas tank so next time he steals it his truck will SMOKE all the way home and blacken the skies so SMOKEY can trace him! ( I will now have time to call and get together with you soon)

Dan S. all those good and not so good post we done to each other truly have no baring on being friends, it is what makes all of us good ole boys here!

Larry you been losing it for so long someone needs to swing by your shack and PW that old outhouse then stain it a nice shiny color so you can find it. :)

Mark now you can invite me up for some nice boating with you, I might even pop open a beer for you, and if your truly lucky drink one so you can tell the guys how fast I got drunk.

Guys I will pop in every now and then, more now then later but will never forget any of you or this industry as it has been good for us.

As for moving, my first choice is Georgia to be close to my life long friend but Remy won't even consider anyplace back there, thinks it is all to humid and hot but I would love to move back there, heck Vermont, Delaware, Conn. any of those New England states but your gotta remember she is from Hawaii and NO I will not live on an Island, er not with a wife anyway!

Dang I told myself NO LONG POST.

ALl of you are friends and shall remain so.

Good days ahead

Jon,

Very few people do you run across that just out of general conversation you can rate their character. I must say, you have placed yourself well above most on these boards and you will be missed.

I know, just with what I have seen and read that you will have the man upstairs walking with you as you challange the health issues. May God bless you and your family.

Take care buddy.

Henry your out of line here, heck I bet you can get Danny boys dander up anytime as easy as I used to but over time it got to be old news and no fun.

Now I can say he is a friend that when I look back we both had fun with each other, oh yeah and then there is BIGBOY!

Nothing happens for almost a year when both surgeries are done and the Doc says all is well Jon, go forth and enjoy life!

Im thinking about getting into a different business as well and leaving the wash-wash behide me. Heck a couple months ago I thought about selling the whole deal.

Looks like it may happen if things go like planned this year will be my last as a mobile washer. That means one more winter.

stick around jon and keep me company...............

maybe we should make a BB for the X mobile washer's ........... we can come and chat and talk about how nice it is not worring about costumers soap breakdowns equipment hoses jobs < ahhhh "hose job" > I better end it there.

Dang Dan you just came up with a darn good idea, I am sure there are enough "retired" fired, weekend warriors, low ballers that we could have a field day with them on a board for former pressure washers!

Trust me as you age you mellow!

When you become a Granddad you mellow even more!!

And when your life is in the hands of a Doctor man do you mellow fast!

I will be around from time to time if for no other reason to BUGGER YOU [t2] so take a side and let's jump!

Now THATS what I'm talking about!!!

Keep up the spirit jon, your health will be alright as long as you keep kicking and fighting.

I know we've had our disagreements in the past and I've even learned from them. We all have our own way of doing things but as long as we get good results, that's what counts the most.

I'd be happy to talk with you on the phone sometime or taking you fishing out in the chesapeake bay for some striped bass fishing.
