I am looking to start up my own hood cleaning business in my area. I have previous experiance from a member of the chdca. I problem is my lack of capital. I'm 22 years old living with my parents so i don't have much for colaterial, but i do have an excelent business ethic and motivation. Where would be a good place to start looking for capital?

Tony is right on the money. Work for someone, learn the business and save. You can't start a business on work ethic, especially hood cleaning.

Work for someone else. 95% of new business fails within the first year, and if you are trying to start with no real source of income (ie. investor, etc..) you are real likely to become a statistic. I don't mean to sound negative, but I don't want to see another struggling hood cleaning company that cant meet its own payroll.
