Going to be buying a new trailer set up was wondering what you all thought would be good. I restore alot of decks but eventually want to do some storefronts and things like that. this is what i was thinking of buying. I have no experience with hot/cold machines so please give me some input

15ft trailer
20hp Vanguard
5.5 - 6 GPM General
525 - 550 gal tank
couple hose reels
200 ft hose
not sure what kind of burner

I was thinking of buying from Delco, But they are out of state and my distributer near me cant really come close in price, please give me your thoughts on what would be best for me.

Thanks

Mark,

Here is a unit I am kind of partial to:

I have a unit similar to what Mark showed you. I went with the dual tanks, so I could have a reclaim tank when needed, or have 460 gallons on hand. The one Mark showed was a 330 gallon.
I went with the 20HP Honda and 115 Volt burner. I love my unit and would not buy another brand. The one downfall of this trailer though, is that it does not have a lot of extra room for additional equipment. That is fine with me, but everyone else seems to bring it up.

Happy shopping
Alan

Yes i am looking for a larger trailer, with around a 15ft deck. Everyone please tell me what you prefer so i can make a choice on what to buy. If you could educate me on the burners also that would be great. I have a question about the reclaim unit. Does it filter the water then you just use it again? or how does that work? also what is the cost of one?

thanks

You can use the water again, or you can discharge to the sanitary sewer. Now with the reclaim, you also need a way to get it there. I chose the vacuboom system for the recovery. You can check them out here http://www.vacuboom.com
I then chose Water Treatment Technologies for the reclaim, you can check them here http://www.watertreatmenttech.com.
There are other systems out there, so look around to see what you like. I chose these, because they are simple and easy to service and use. It has been awhile, so don't rely on this, but I believe that both systems were about $3500.00 The vacuboom unit is the 20' system and the reclaim is the LD-30.

I say by from Delco. So what if they are not local. You can buy 2 machines from them for the price you would pay locally.Any problems you have they will guide you over the phone. All parts available locally.Rk 21 is what i have ,its sufficient for most jobs, especially decks.I have 225 gal water tank, more than i will ever need,no hose reel yet.Ask Scott Stone if you dont believe me.

Go with Delco. The price is very hard to beat, and all the component parts (engine, pump, etc) are the same as other brands. They will ship the trailer to you if you can't go get it. Look at it this way, I can run my RK31 till it blows up, get another new one, run it till it blows up and buy a third one for less than one Hotsy or Landa.

mp.

youer the one with f350 right ?

if you buy from delco tell them you wont a 16 ft trailer , with two 6,000 lb axels 8 hole lugs not 6 hole and hydrulic brakes not eletric, S&C TRAILERS IN FORT WORTH sales this trailer for about $2,800 you will not have to buy another trailer , this trailer will carry every thing you will need and then some!

i put a steel bed in my trailer , that way i would not have to replace the wood every 2 or 3 years.

MH,

A BURNER IS I BURNER, KARCHER , I NO NOTHING ABOUT!

IF I WERE GOING TO BUY A NEW HOT WATER WASHER , IT WOULD BE FROM DELCO OR xxxxxxxxxx, BUT IF YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT POWER WASHERS THEN I WOULD GO WITH DELCO , WHEN THE DAY COMES AND YOU NEED HELP , THEY WILL BE THERE FOR YOU.

GOOD LUCK!

You guys should give Mark at EasyClean a call. You will find him to be knowlegable, and very fair with pricing. He carries some washers that are much better then delcos, for likely not that much more.

Mark set me up with a machine that will kick the bejeezes out of a delco setup.
I'm glad I decided to go with someone who actually offers personal, knowledgable service, over a discount house staffed by order-takers.

Tony,

Obviously you have never bought anything from Delco. I've never had such an experience there. Mark would be an excellent choice too........I'm sure he could mount the washers on any trailer you want.

Mark,

You definately want some extra room on that trailer..........I have the 16' tandem axle trailer from Delco...........and I would be lost without the extra room on the front! By the way, its C & S trailers not S & C.
