What are you guys doing for the New Years Eve?

Do ya' just hang out untill after midnight then go to bed?

Or do you make a big deal of it and party all night?

I have always wanted to make the trip to New-York and watch the ball fall ....but hol;y crap there is alot of people there.

This year we are just going to have a few friends down and play some games and eat lots of food...... Then right after the clock hits midnight ....I will send them home.....LOL

Lets hear what your plans are and ideas.

Not such a big deal........

Wow, a new year ? Really. Big deal, who cares, so what, New years is just another economic incentive for the country. Just like Christmas, Easter, New Years etc...

Think about it:

How much money was pumped in the economy over Christmas ? How much interest will be paid on all those credit cards ?

How much money will be pumped into the economy on easter ? Candy companies make a fortune.

How much food was purchased extra than the norm over Thanksgiving ?

Every holiday is for a reason and we as a country have commercialized every one. Hardly anyone celebrates holidays for what they really are.

oh yeah, Going to the neighbor's home for celebration. And yes, I will be taking my 5th of Segrams 7.

I wish all of you a prosperous new year. Guess what ? That was free.

A new year.
A time to reflect and think about what is REALLY important in your life.
One year less to do the thing's you've allway's wanted to do.
One year closer to not haveing a new year.
Time to think about how well you really have it, compared to other's.
Before the new year take some x-mas money and go to a children's hospital and share a gift with a child you dont know.
You'll feel like a million buck's and have have the best new year's you've ever had.
Anyone that know's me or is friend's of anyone that know's me is welcome in my home on new year's eve.
One rule-if you have a drink you cant drive away.
Everyone should have a lot to be thankfull for.
Sometime's we all just think about what we dont have instead of being happy about what we do have.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!!!

I going to bring in the new year with my grandsons. They got new rod&reels for x-mas and want to try them out, bringing in the new year fishing enstead of working.

I too looked at all holidays as just another work day,my hat goes off to the ones that do take time to enjoy life with family and friends.I used to work all holidays but now I make my own and take off all manmade holidays.

Great perspective Ron , Tony and Larry. We do have it good, even though we complain alot.
And those folks in need, they have needs all year long too, not just at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Don't forget them later on. Larry, enjoy those boys now, for when you're gone they will have something to pass on to their kids. I'm not tryin' to bury ya, but you know what I mean. I spent a lot of time with my Grandpa's and you cant take that away from me ever. I had my last one living until I was 40 and my kids got to know their Great Grandpa.
Sorry didn't mean to get sentimental.

As far as new years. I think me and my bride will take the Camper and Boat and go to the TX coast for a few days. She deserves some R&R.

We finish up our work week tomorrow and are off till Monday 01-05-04. I think Ill just take the rest of the year off. LOL
