Does anyone do this along with pressure washing?

Seems like there might be some extra money in it... you clean the lot and while its nice and clean put down some new striping making it look like a million bux...

I have looked into this. They say some of the best equipmemt is GRACO.
Here is a link for you. http://www.parkinglotplanet.com/
There is another good forum other than the one posted above.
Have to pay attention to what kind of paint your using on what suface.
Surface temperature etc. Not as easy as it looks. Keep machines cleaned out between jobs. Ya know the usual prevantative maintinance issues.

Do you need any certifications or anything to do line striping in parking lots or wherever? I have thought of this as well and I think it would be a good addition to a power washing business.

No certification is needed, although you gotta have a decent striper which cost $$$$.

I think that if you had your equip set up properly a restripe job would be easy money...

On the other hand, a new stiping job would be a serious PITA IMO to do and would take a lot of time to do the job right.

You do have to be licensed for new construction striping. This having to do with measuring the stripe, Handicap Symbols, colors, arrows, city coding, etc. On the other hand you can do restripes and not have a contractors license
