Hey PWs,I just got a job doing 3 bank lots,ok this is my first flat work job so you all are in for the questions.First off i will describe this a bit.Bank wants there drive thrus done including those marks on there curbs and also there sidewalks.Thats it for the concrete the rest is all asphalt. My main question is whats a good cleaner for that concrete? Is there something i can use on both the concrete and asphalt?I realize that asphlat wont come that clean, but on the asphalt they just more or less want it sprayed off gravel, dirt etc..Well i thank this is a long enough question..haha.Thanks alot guys!and ladies!Any help would be great.

Bank drive-thrus can be nice accounts, especially if you can get them on maintenance contracts. I have had good success with a combination of techniques using regular nozzles (15 degree is my favorite for concrete), turbo tips, and a concrete cleaning machine. My favorite concrete cleaning chemical has a potassium hydroxide base and is manufactured/shipped out of Toledo, OH in a liquid form for $5.99 a gallon based on a minimum purchase of 55 gallons (might be a little costly shipping to MO).

Good Luck !

Most concrete cleaners are used to clean petroleum based stains. Asphalt is a petroleum based product so these cleaners will break them down. Fine for the concrete...not the asphalt.
