Its obvious your wanting to go down the easy road without any flashing lights to warn of any dangers whether it be a homemade or store bought chemical.

Its also obvious your not understanding my meaning b/c of your intentions of outlining what can be used safety.Where are you misunderstanding me in both our safety reasons?Careless and not being able to read handling and storage on a hot chemical like acids, caustic, ect. have hurt alot of people, including children.

Go to the extra trouble to outline the safety in handling, mixing and storage of A hot chemical.

Why give up?they are alot of post that gives warnings on chemicals on this board.Lists the warnings in your good intentions and you may get by without someone sueing you over a misunderstanding chemical use.

Just trying to give you heads up but can see its falling of deaf ears, like I said before "go for it" "why give up"

Well mostly because I see critisism, but mostly what I see is the lack of information. If you feel so strongly about safety then spell the stuff out and I will add it into the documentation so we both win.

The problem is the WORLD ............. So many people think that you are going to sue for this and that .. Without even knowing what they are saying ....

It's a sad sad world .......... Hey Ron , Just go for it man How can they sue you .. somebody please tell me .....

All you need to say is ..................... REFER TO THE MSDS SHEETS OF ANY CHEMICAL YOU PLAN ON USING, AND FOLLOW ALL HAZARDS RELATED TO THIS CHEMICAL, STORAGE,CLOTHING,EYE PROTECTION.....ETC. ALSO IF YOU NEED MORE INFO. ON ANY CHEMICAL LISTED AND IT'S USAGE CONTACT THE MANUFACTURE.
"JUST ME'' >> RON (FORGOT LAST NAME) IS NO WAY LIABLE FOR ANY INFORMATION WHICH IS ON THIS DOCUMENT .ALL INFORMATION WAS FROM OTHER CONTRACTORS WHO USE THESE CHEMICALS AND EQUIPMENT .........

Like I said it's a sad world ....... I would love to just jump off and ride another ride.

I do not see "mosty" the critisism you see, would you mine showing me where?

And "mosty" I do not see where you see the lack of information, this board is full of the info your needing to outline yours and others wants.

*LOL* now your wanting me to do your work for you as to spell it out and you add it.

hahahehehe you most be a newbee wiiiiith just a feeeeew years under your belt wanting things handed to you on a silver plaaaaatter lol,do your home work.

No harm meant, like given blood rushes without the harm of a chemical or pill.

GO FOR IT,the info you need is on the board even the safety we both want.

O and I wouldn't trade my life for someones elses life, aren't we all perfect.

The Pressure Washing Scrolls

Justme
You can title your findings "The Pressure Washing Scrolls"
We are newbies so I don't feel qualified to add to the info you are compiling,as we are still learning the ropes.I think the idea is fantastic,a document like this would have helped us out in the early research days of building our business.
A disclaimer like Dan S posted is exactly what you will need to insure you won't be help liable for any info included. This is a sue crazy world,so better safe than sorry.

How can they sue you .. somebody please tell me .....

With a lawer :)

What is this, pick on Larry week

Even tho you bought the car new and understood the driving part what "if" it comes apart going down the road hurting you and others.Who's libel...would it be a unbroken chain as to who.

"""GO FOR IT" don't let me stop you, others are pushing you on as to go ahead, they all want it.Don't let me stand in your way b/c you have ALOT of book work ahead of you.

I'd also would like a copy, nothing better than eating off a silver platter,go for it,go,go go go.

I don't mine go ahead and make this pick on Larry week b/c he thinks safety should come first, heck make it all month :)

safety

Larry,
I whole heartedly agree that safety should and will need to be included in Justme's info. The fact remains that no matter how many times you warn some people about safety, their stupidity will over come them and they will try something they shouldn't.
As for how to sue someone, you bet there are lawyers that will try to make a case out of nothing and anything. Car manufactures have in the past been held liable for injuries that were caused from cars that did come apart while being driven.Faulty workmanship makes them liable, because they allowed employees to stray from set standards of operation.
If this info would be getting fed off of a silver platter, then what does this BBS and other like it do.I know we personally would be very low on the learning curve of pressure washing if it weren't for guys like you,Dan S., and guys from other BBS helping us,by sharing your knowledge and experience with us.
I think it's a novel idea that Justme has, to compile as much info in one place and then offer it for free.I'm happy someone can find the time to work on a project like this.
I'm not trying to pick on anyone ,I just think it's a cool idea.

I agree, don't shoot me yet b/c I said I wanted a copy too.I know where the info is if I wanted to know, but like most I had rather set on the porch while other brings me food on a silver platter without me having to walk around the house looking for it.

I also agree this board is a silver platter,we all agree on safety and trying to protect ourselfs. So whats the problem, your not talking to a stump,I understand :)

Squirtgun,

You must not know Larry very well. I have been reading his post for several years now and WOW. He is a fricken "GENIUS" not just the average smart guy. Joking aside, Larry is a good guy from just knowing how he post.

I think he is right and I think Justme needs to get a pat on the back for doing this. Justme, listen to Larry and Dan S. Make the statement first heading and I would also include a section just on proper chemical safety. There are only a few chemicals out there that we all on this board can get that are highly dangerous if not applied correctly, one that comes to mind is HF. Future Professionals will need to know about this and other chemicals that will put them in danger.

I know, Larry why dont you help him just on the chemicals that are dangerous when used improperly. You have the experience and I am sure we would all appreciate this. Again, I think that there are 4 out there but I am unsure.

You've got to be kidding me,ME a "GENIUS",chit man I quit school in the ninth grade b/c I was making more F's than D's.And I wish I was 1/10 as smark as you think I am,money and brains is the only thing holding me back tho as to being a "GENIUS".

Sure heck yeah I help, all I got to do is ask Dan/xlr8td to send me the info and I could give it to JustMe.I'm just as lazy as some of ya'll,I've even been thinking of putting wheels on all my wands,I get tired holdem Plus if anyone has a trained dog to brush rims can I barrow him.I feel cabin feverish and lazish this morning,I wonder if a genius is smart enuff to know about cabinfever.

LOL, hey I never had a problem with your advice, I just did not expect to do this entirely alone either and that is why I posted the message to ask for help and input. The guide would touch on the most important things that are sometimes confusing to find. True they are there, but what really made me think of this was the fact I have read plenty of things that most people should not mess with and thought if I could put this together it would help and also ensure people did not get hurt.

The disclaimer on the guide was there from day one when I started it and outlines dangers right up front about getting killed messing with chems.

I don't expect to hand anyone the golden guide either, just some common knowledge and a good basic set of tools that may help them out.

I am not busting anyones balls so to speak, I would love for someone who is more on the chem side to outline some do's and dont's though about some of the more dangerous chems. I used HF years back and got my taste of stupidity with it and I don't want someone else to make the same mistake. Honestly I have read some things on here that could get a person hurt, but the forums are very valuable and this guide would never replace them, there is just to much that changes from day to day and that is what is most valuable about them.

Can't we all just get along :p :D

BTW after serious concideration I am not going to release this, if someone truely feels they need it I may send it to them, but I am not going to post it for the general public any longer.

There are lots of reasons for my decision so please understand.

We understand!!

I do have to agree with what Dan Flynn said though on a different thread !

What he said made perfect since..........

Wouldnt you agree?

What, after me popping popcorn to watch tv your not going to hand me a silver platter to eat off of?

With all your listings in your intentions it would be mind bogging not counting having to eat off a plain old plate while doing so.

In the old days all powerwashers knew each other in their working area's but nowdays I rarely get to talk to the new breed of powerwashers b/c of the silver spoon they get feed with.

Hey you, watch it or I will make you read the whole thing twice :D

Speaking of that, the guys around here that do it will talk to you, but they are all using products from home depo that's premixed or so they say.... I have yet to gain one useful thing from them, besides telling me they use bleach from walmart.
