Surface Cleaner

I appeciate the advice about my surface cleaner problem! I replaced my tips and it works much better. My local supply store advised me that a two bar is better than a three spray bar. I have a 3500psi @ 4gpm. He says that with three tips I'm only getting 1800psi.

Does anyone agree with this? Looking for other opinions.

Thanks,

Tim,

IMHO (In my humble opinion) a 3 bar is more effective than a two bar surace cleaner.

PROVIDING THAT: You have enough volume of water going through the unit.

I assume you have a 13 HP Honda powered unit which probably is actually putting out @ 3.6 to 3.8 GPM. If you were to run a 3 bar surface cleaner with a 3.8 GPM @ 3500 PSI p/w you would run three1.5 nozzles giving you the equivalency of @ one 4.5 nozzle, based on the chart shown your pressure would be around 2500 to 3000 PSI.

:) Hope this helps!

Where can I get a 3 bar swivel?

I saw th plans for a homemade surface cleaner and was thrilled at the idea of making one. Now with the suggestion of a 3 bar unit, I have to take that into serious consideration. Who handles such a swivel, and are they available in both Stainless and Brass?
