opps. I posted some pics of a job I'm looking at. Basically moss, lichen, dirt, tree sap...
any ideas on cleaning this one? I might rent a lift and do it overhead?

If you can rent a lift that'd be great. T o celan it your gonna want to use SH12%, water, and amonyx lo or simple cherry will work to, or even just Dawn. Gotta use a dedicated pump though for tile.

The tree sap your gonna have to close enough to hit it with some pressure.

Hi Doug!
Yes, I can rent a lift. I have simple cherry on the truck. SH12% and hot water to kill off the lichen I assume? Dedicated pump...don't understand?

Hot water not needed. A dedicated pump for SH12%, basically your roof mix should go through a dedicated pump for tile roofing. If it was shingle you could probably x jet or DS, but tile you got to have a roof pump. Search on the board here for Roof Pump or other boards and read up on it. Mix has to be really hot, (strong) for tile roofs.

Call me later tonight if you need to.

I see. Even if my system is chems after the pump?

Yes, remember we're talking tile roof here only. Which is basically concrete. You will get a LOY of run off and not much 'STICK" so it's gotta be strong and you gotta protect the landscape.

Since I'm downstream... can't I simply switch nozzles and be applying rinse water with the same hose? There is also a lot of roof debris, twigs-leaves-sticks that need rinsed off?

You sure can, use the zero to remove the twigs leaves etc. The force of air is what will remove all the debris. Just keep good control of it.

So you are planning to DS this tile roof???????
