Hi All
Just wanted to pick your brains.
I just wanted to know if anyone added a little turtle wax carwash/wax to there house cleaning mix.
I am thinking about doing it because .
1. It creates subs and may keep cleaner on house longer.
2. It contains a little wax for a shiny finish plus may help with window spotting. So what do you think?
P.S. This yr we are also going to try a foamer. Thanks Tim

I do not see nothing it will hurt by adding the turtle carwash/wax.However if your looking for a little more shine try adding a small chemical tank to your rig and metering a wax with your rinse water.

the turtle wax will do a good job. We use it or another car wash soap w/wax all the time. It is relatively cheap, around $4 a gallon. It suds up good & leaves a good shine. Blue Coral is good also. I question the amount of wax that is actually left behind but we do get good results from these products. Dawn and dishwashing liquids can actually dull the finish on what you are washing. I am going to be selling portable Spot Free water filters soon. I was given a demo unit to try on my rig and the results are wonderful. Anyone can e-mail me if you want more info.
Thanks

Ron,

We are considering adding the "Spot Free Water Filters" to our product line. I will post more info soon.

According to the manufacturer they do not provide 100% spot free water, but do a great job in the auto detail industry.

More info soon. :)

You can buy a fleet wash soap and wax, after mixing the fleet wash soap in your chemical tank you can add wax to the mix,its cheaper in the long.It will clean better plus a better shine.

Ron if you not care please do not link other web pages with this board, leave off the www and com.,,,ok

sorry bigboy will do.
Im getting the shine with my wax but spotting is bad on the black trucks.
I add the wax to the soap but rinse with tank water.
I wanted to soften the tank water.
Mark,pass along any info. Thanks

no need to be sorry..

are you useing a beading wax,if so,make it alittle weaker or meter it in from a chemical tank while rinsing, use less on black/red.I'm trying a different one now,it too is spotting on black/red trucks. Its a beading wax which smells like cherrys :) humm, man talk about a shine wow but it spots to bad for me.They have me a sheating wax ordered, hope it has the same shine as the beading.

Bigboy,

Could you mix both the sheeting and the beading wax to get the effect you want?

I use a sheeting wax when I wash vinyl sided houses. Dull/chalky aluminum sided houses benefit from a beading wax to give it a little shine. I had never thought to mix the two.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Mark if you followed my link and clicked "new product's" you would'nt have needed to post the pic.
It is the same product i was looking at.
Your price reflects the 1000 model
i am interested in the 5000 model
olso i think it only fair to your customer's that you put in the gal's per charge in your advertising.[my 2 cent's not telling you your biz]
now if your talking the SALE price you give on your site for the 5000 gal unit SOLD!
A-PLUS/WAGON WHEEL
Those types of wax's will burn off in well under a month on the sunny side of the house. You really need to look into PLEX-MASTER and SIL-O-WET. It is dirt cheap and last's a lot longer.
mix kit makes 40 gal of concentrate. then 1 gal of concentrate to
4 gal. of water in a 5 gal bucket, then downstream at 10 to1.[some say you still cut that 10to1 to 40to1 but i dont]
kit is around $70
Bigboy-im going to shoot a truck with this stuff in the next 2 week's and see what happens.
This stuff put's you way ahead of the compition.
Ive been asked to wax other contractor's wash job's after they have seen my house's. It act's like rain-x on glass and the wife's love that.

Ron,

I will beat the price you found elsewhere on the 5000# gallon unit also!
The pdf files attached in the item description, show the estimated gallons of usage.

Tony,I have mixed them before,it gets to be a hassel trying to keep the mix the same.

Ron,I thought you said you was going to try those two last year, remember, scared huh.You may find just what we have been looking for if you try it,if I washed many houses I would have done tried it on a truck.Thank goodness I only do 4 or 5 houses a year and thats still to many for me ;).The wax I'm useing now is 4 oz to 5 gal and then metered though the rinse water, not bad for 49 dallors for 5 gal.,,local.I have changed soaps also,it leaves a shine too and when I apply the wax on top of it I get a great shine, even white stands out.

Mark,I don't guess that filter would be plumbed in the supply line from tank to pump could it?

In other words the pump cann't pull the water though the filter fast enough to supply the pump,,,my inlet water supply is coming from a 2 in hose  it takes only a minute or 2 to fill supply tank ;) [bigboy].
