Washing a Mobile Home

Hello All,
Got a call this evening to give an estimate on a 70' singlewide mobile home tomorrow. As I am new and have not washed one of these as yet, Im looking for suggestions on what type of chemical to use, what to be careful of, etc. She did mention she wanted the roof done as well. Would appreciate any tips from expierenced mobile home washers out there. Also any pricing guide lines I should follow or just use what I would like to make on the job per hr?

Thanks for your comments

Ken

Is the mobile home vinyl or aluminum siding?? Neither will that big of a deal, unless it is aluminum and has heavy oxidation. If aluminum, take your finger and rub down it. The color on your finger is oxidation. When you clean this it will lighten the color of the siding. Be careful not to put to much pressure. Do not walk on the roof. Use a ladder and clean one side at a time. Unless it is newer and has shingles, and if this is the case it will have vinyl siding and will be an easy job. I would use a mixture of bleach and a good detergent soap on the siding, not as stong on aluminum. On the roof, straight bleach or chlorine if you have it. Water everything down first. As far as pricing?????All depends, maybe around $75 to $100. Maybe you can talk her into putting KOOLSEAL on the roof if it is metal.</FONT c>
