    Trade High Pressure Hoses

I have about 1100 feet of high pressure hose I would like to trade for maybe a smaller used pressure washer (at least something large enough I can do houses with it). I am also open to other suggestions for a trade. ------------------

    BIG $$$$$$

I can sympathize with those of you who have had problems loosing equipment. Although I haven't really ran into that problem much as a PW. When I was in graduate school I managed the crews of my father's electrical company. Many of us do not realize how lucky we have it as contractors who do...

    BIG $$$$$$

I agree with Scott that the people who make the most money specialize. Our company specializes in only flat work with large companies. If we can not sign some sort of contract or be gauranteed work in the future we seldom do work for them. This has worked well for us. I feel it would hurt...

You want to know what goes wrong with quick couplers?

I have had the ball bearing clog up too. Instead of replacing the whole quick connect we started servicing the quick connects every week at the same time we service our machines. We take a punch and manipulate the ball bearings and put WD40 on them and they are back good as new. As for...

Survey on best quick couplers- come on guys give it to me.

This is just a curosity quesition. What is going bad on the quick connects. I have been using them for eight months and never seen one "go bad". What happens? I always spray mine with WD40 at least once a week, maybe more and never had a problem with one. ------------------

Service Station bid with Diesel Canopy

yeah Dave's right bid on this by time and materials only. We usually try to go at $125-175 per hour. If you are bidding against some other contractors you may want to offer to do a free one so you can have a better estimate on the amount of time that it is going to take you. Do not forget if...

    No check valves needed......

Other than changing your tips in the surface cleaner did you have to alter any other fittings? Do you still use 3/8" hose? Does this alter the PSI at all? One more question how do you know if your unloader is flow or PSI? ------------------

    Picture of my truck

Actually the machines are neither aaladin or Alkota. they are made by a company in Chatanooga (sp). The name of the company is Clique. The machines are semi-custom made. The company has a combination of different motors and pumps to put together. I bought these from a distributor. These...

    Rag Wholesaler

I do not know if this is exactly what you are looking for but whenever I need rags to clean misc stuff. I go to the Salvation Army and ask if they have any rags for sale. They take all of the T-shirts that are donated to them which are not fit for use and cut them into rags. The last time I...

    Picture of my truck

To David and all we are based in Lexington,KY. However, only about 25% of our business is located there. We actually travel in about a 250 mi radius to do work. To Bling Bling and anyone else wondering how I got my commercial flat work: I posted an idea to help people get commercial flat work...

    Picture of my truck

Thank everyone! Our company focusses almost entirely on commercial flat surface concrete. We do not clean any residential or vehicles of any kind. So this truck does not need to have any ladders or exotic chemicals. Answers to the questions: Toolbox-We have a small toolbox that is mounted...

    Flow vs Pressure ??

I am not talking about modifying my existing equipment. I am planning to have some totally new equuipment built and having the coils and everything else matched to the psi and flow. I am really just wandering if the increae in psi is just an overkill if I increase my flow by ~2GPM. Or if...
