    problems w/concrete

We washed some newer concrete---9 months old, and a grey silty grit seemed to wash off the surface. Also, when washing no matter how many times we passed over the surface there were many overlap marks and just an overall very inconsistant look. It seems to be something to do with the concrete...

    Ready Seal Problems (possibly)

I would not say that a properly sealed deck w/ready seal, has the same protection as it would if you were to use the other sealers mentioned. It has more. Lets not forget that all the extra gallons that are applied are not wasted, they are working inside the wood. This is a valuable attribute of...

    Wax after house washing

We've used both waxes offered by E'spec and they work well. Also found one offered thru chempact (1-800-925-8958)called final coat house wax that seems to work just as well and is more economical. We use around 2qts. per 5 gal. water and apply with xjet 2:1. Water will sheet off house almost...

    Special Window Washing Technique

This sounds like it will take longer and get worse results than if you did it the right way. Take a window washing mop, soap up the window with a window wash soap(we use glass gleam) then squeegee off. Check windowcleaningsupplies.com for different soaps and tools.

    Am I WAY off????

Our price for those windows would have been $15 per window.(For 6 panes over 6 panes with storms). For the windows without storms it would be $8 per window. Storm jobs take a while and I doubt that 1 person could do this job the right way in 16 hours, especially a painter who probably doesn't...
