Ready Seal should be around $18 per gallon........and if you order over 25 gallons you would not be charged shipping...........no 125 mile trips to worry about......
Mike, thanks for the info. Going by price RS gave me. Will need roughly 15 gallons of product for job I hope to get. By purchasing 25, and can basically pay for 5 and get 5 free.
Hard to tell sometimes with the sunlight. Some decks you just can't get a good picture of! Here's a pic of one of my decks, Ready Seal light brown, done last year. I like the pic, except I forgot to remove my box of rags from the picture.......
We used our TimberStrip Pro to remove the 3 layers of CWF-UV then brightened and neutralized. Followed the drying period with a little defurring using the 3M pads and sander polishers then sealed with Menwood Sierra Cedar.
Thanks for the compliments.. the deck was built by a builder I work with and he butted the boards pretty closely together. Its all 2 x 6 cedar on the floor.
The deck took 2 guys around 7 hours to strip and brighten and 5-6 hours to seal. The bill on this one rang in at $1930.00 with $240 going out to labor and around $300 in product.
On percarb jobs we don't worry to much about the pool.. just try to wash everything away from it. If needed we will use luan to back up the railing system so we're not blowing a bunch of wood pulp into the pool. we have also used a hinged piece of luan to protect the pool from the runoff when stripping. Those are tough ones.... we just do the best we can to keep everything out of it.
We charged around $1900 for this project.... it took around 22 man hours to complete and was relatively new construction. We also did 370' of new shadow box fencing for the customer so we offered them a little better pricing on th combination of both.
I answered your question about pricing in your new post.
