Roof Cleaning Safety Equiptment - What do you guys use?

Ok, I have not done many roofs since I just started my business in May. My main questions are #1 - What do you guys use to anchor to the roof? I've see the thing that sticks into the plumbing on the roof but that won't work in all scenarios. I know you can use something on the ground as well. I'm looking for roof anchors or whatever other methods you have used or seen. Like brand names and names of the products that way I know I'm looking at the right thing when I searching on Google. #2 - I have two professional harnesses, but what do you recommend to use to attach my harness to my anchor points? Obviously a rope, but on the ends of the rope, what do you use?

Daniel, I do not use any type of anchoring system. IF the roof is not at a pitch that I feel I can safely walk and feel comfortable on, then I do not get on the roof. I spray from the ladder at the gutter line.

How are you applying the chem (method) from the ladder and what chem do you use? I currently have a x-jet and working on my downstream problem as we discussed in the other forum, and don't have the funds to buy a soft wash system just yet. I can get the chem on the roof with my x-jet but it doesn't do well with rinsing the top of the roof if it's 20+ feet from top of the ladder.

I apply with a Roof Pump system, Electric Pump. I use SH, (Bleach) I never rinse a roof, I let the Rain rinse. X Jet will work, you just have to figure on mixing a lot up on site, or tote a 10-20 gallon barrell around on a dolly.
