    California Water Usage

This is addressed to any Los Angeles County pressure washers contractors. How does a contractor abide by the new law when you can't wash driveways and sidewalks between 9am - 4pm? This ordinance went into effect this past week? I haven't research the statues of the law yet but I'm hoping it...

White smoke, then no hot water.

Good evening guys, I had hot water for three hours today when white smoke began pouring out the stack of my 12v Beckett, diesel fuelled heater. I immediately shut the heater off. When starting it up later, the heater wouldn't start. I had trouble on the last job I did, but I wasn't near the...

Dwell times for detergents and chemicals.

Hey gents, I've read your informative posts, and have learned so many trade secrets. (which by the way I'm so grateful) You've all talked about which chemical for what application, but never the dwell times for any particulate incident. I realize the condition of stains requires longer times...

Is the reclaimation of discharge water enforced?

Penny wise, dollar foolish. Recovering/recycling with the power washing business is another major part of the job. You're cleaning the crud off and then allow it to run anywhere it flows? This is 2006. The EPA regulates our rivers, lakes and streams. Would you empty used, nasty motor oil in the...

    Nut in a shell

    New in the "Valley"

Is there by chance, anyone in California that has dealt with wastewater disposal citations? I'm new in this business and have got all the permits, certificate of liability, license, and equipment. I would much rather be proactive in this field, than to be cited for an unknown violalation. Building A New Washer

You might be over doing the hp. I have a 18 hp with the tsf2021 which gives me 5.2 gpm @ 3500 psi. Given the ratio to achieve 3600 psi @ 8 gpm you may be right on. I'm no hydronic engineer either.
